EN - Sustainable and socially responsible employment development: contribution of newagricultural models, tool for integration and revitalization of rural areas
OBJECTIVES OF THE READ UP PROJECT
• Assess the development of this agricultural model in Europe;
• study the contribution this model can give to employment, also through small farmers in a formal framework still to be standardised;
• evaluate the ways in which this model and small farmers can be supported in Europe and how to stimulate it to create new jobs;
• evaluate the possible evolutions for small farmers in new member states such as Romania and Bulgaria, where visible changes in the farming sector are ongoing;
• develop a special relationship with the new European Labour Authority in order to protect such agricultural model.
